President & CEO
Domenic Gallelli is the Founder, President & CEO of Prodigal Private Security Inc. In 2008, he earned a Master's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in Entrepreneurship, Management, Strategy and Implementation; all of which serve well in his current role. By the time he started Prodigal in 2006, he was already recognized as an outstanding member of the nightlife security field in Philadelphia for his decade of experience in coordinating, training and directing events and security teams and venues throughout the region. His exceptional leadership and management capabilities have allowed Prodigal to expand rapidly, drawing a wide variety of clients across multiple segments.
Domenic assesses potential business development opportunities for fiscal sense, viability and appropriate alignment with Prodigal's strategy, core values and mission.
He oversees strategic initiatives and positioning for PPS in the areas of strategic alliances, negotiations, compliance, financial position and overall operational framework. He also directs the continued development of PPS through innovative and aggressive growth strategies and the identification and subsequent penetration of new and emerging market segments.
Areas of Interest
Domenic currently serves as Board President for The Sapphire Fund and in 2007 & 2008; he served as Event Co-Chair for The Gift of Life Donors are Heroes Annual gala.
In 2006, he served on a University of Pennsylvania Team in Prague, Czech Republic; working with Cerge-IE, Economic Research Institute.
In 2007, he co-authored a book on Strategic Consulting under Dr. Eric Van Merkinsteijn - University of Pennsylvania.
Director of Client Services
Jim Pfizenmayer brings a diverse client services background to Prodigal. A graduate of Saint Joseph's University, Jim has over two decades worth of experience as a client services representative. His experience includes his former roles as a Technology Support Director for MAACO Enterprises, and a Special Projects Coordinator and Business Analyst for Electronic Data Systems, in which he brings Prodigal a strong technological background that enables him to develop and maintain client relations for the company through face-to-face and virtual connections and marketing campaigns.
District Manager
Bryant and Mitch each hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Drexel University and have been with PPS since 2007 and 2009 respectively. They have excelled in a range of duties and roles and currently hold the position of District Manager. They oversee staffing and personnel company-wide, as well as maintaining an active role in continuing Quality Assurance. In addition, they manage PPS's security concierge-24/7 services as well as the hospitality/night-life outsourcing division. They are both S.O.R.A certified and contribute to the training sessions of all new hires.
Lead Officer
Mark Averell, a long time PPS Manager, holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Campbell University in North Carolina and has been with PPS since 2006, during which he has excelled in a range of duties and roles. As Site Manager for Prodigal's headquarters property, The Piazza at Schmidt's, Mark oversees all aspects of security/concierge coverage and special events management as well oversight of all outsourced security by The Piazza's various hospitality establishments. In addition, Mark has held the position of PPS Security Manager for G Lounge, an upscale nightspot located in Center City Philadelphia since 2008. In addition to the usual duties of a PPS Security Manager, Mark's internal duties also include maintaining positive customer relations, such as admissions and courtesy preferences. Mark is widely recognized for his ability to handle customer requests and crowded lines with mature diplomacy, civility and expertise.
Development Coordinator
Daniel Konno joined Prodigal Private Security in 2009. He currently serves as Prodigal's Development Coordinator, working closely with PPS management in sales, marketing, event management and the continued creation of strategic partnerships. Dan's focus has been consistent improvement across all elements of Prodigal's growth and his contributions have made a significant positive impact on the company landscape. Dan graduated from Drexel University in Spring 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a concentration in Marketing.
Training Supervisor
Ian Poush has been with Prodigal Private Security since 2010. With over a decade of domestic and international security experience, Ian has operated in nearly all aspects of the industry. During hurricane disaster relief efforts, he served as direct liaison for private security firms to The Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, The Red Cross, as well as various state and local law enforcement agencies in Texas and Louisiana. He has written security procedure manuals and trained staff for public sector housing authorities and organizations in the nightlife industry. Ian utilizes his field experience to aid Prodigal Private Security's management in ensuring that all staff is trained in threat assessment, situational awareness, and proper public interaction procedures.
