Domenic Gallelli

Domenic Gallelli - Founder /  President

Founder / President

Domenic Gallelli is the founder and President of Prodigal Private Security. In 2008, he earned a Master's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in entrepreneurship, strategic planning and implementation; all of which serve well in his current role. By the time he started Prodigal in 2005, he was already recognized as an outstanding member of the security field in Philadelphia for his decade of experience coordinating, training and directing events and security teams and venues throughout the region. His exceptional leadership and management capabilities have allowed Prodigal to expand rapidly, drawing a wide variety of clients across multiple segments. High-profile charity events and parties, celebrities requiring specialized protection, and the hospitality industry clients have all entrusted their security needs to Domenic and Prodigal. Because of his commitment to innovation and constant improvement, Domenic hires only the most professional security staff and demands continued training to ensure they remain at the top of their field. His focus will continue to drive Prodigal to provide excellence, every time.


Daniel Costa

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Daniel Costa is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Prodigal Private Security. He holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University and a Master’s Certificate in Information Systems Security Management from Villanova University. He has an extensive twenty-two year law enforcement career including corrections, and as a police officer in Philadelphia and suburbs of the city. During his career he has worked as a K-9 officer, Robbery/Arson Detective, Police Sergeant, acting-Lieutenant, DARE Instructor and WMD/COBRA Instructor. Dan received over twenty-five departmental commendations. He is a certified instructor with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security teaching courses in Terrorism, and Chemical/Biological Weapons, and is an Adjunct Professor at Delaware County Community College in the Social Sciences and Public Services Department. Dan is also responsible for training all Prodigal Private Security personnel in use of force, legal updates, dignitary protection, and alcohol laws.

District Manager

Bryant and Mitch each hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Drexel University and have been with PPS for two and three years respectively. They have excelled in a range of duties and roles and currently hold the position of District Manager. They oversee staffing and personnel company-wide, as well as maintaining an active role in continuing Quality Assurance. In addition, they manage PPS’s security concierge-24/7 services as well as the hospitality/night-life outsourcing division. They are both S.O.R.A certified and contribute to the training sessions of all new hires.

Development Coordinator

Daniel Konno joined Prodigal Private Security in 2009. He currently serves as Prodigal’s Development Coordinator, working closely with PPS management in sales, marketing, event management and the continued creation of strategic partnerships. Dan’s focus has been consistent improvement across all elements of Prodigal’s growth and his contributions have made a significant positive impact on the company landscape. He is slated to graduate from Drexel University in spring 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a concentration in Marketing.
